Privacy

Steel City Recap (https://steelcityrecap.com) keeps this simple.

• Analytics: we use GoatCounter, a privacy-first counter. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal identifiers, no data sold or shared for GoatCounter.
• Advertising: we load the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) so we can measure ad performance. Google may set or read cookies / advertising identifiers per its own policies. See Google's ads privacy docs.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address (Supabase) and use it only to send the morning edition (via Resend). Every email carries a working one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing stops all mail immediately.
• Notifications: if you use the app and turn on notifications, Apple issues a device token that we store only to send those alerts. Turning notifications off in iOS Settings retires the token; we never tie it to your email or your reading.
• Nothing else: no accounts, no other third-party data brokers.
